Consultancy

I have worked with several national arts companies, advising on creative music education content and training in delivery. With a track record of working with orchestral musicians, community musicians, music teachers, primary teachers and nursery staff I can adapt my approach to meet a wide range of training needs and levels of confidence. I design impact evaluation for projects and can advise on different psychological methods for different ages and groups.

Scottish Chamber Orchestra

In 2023 I collaborated with the Creative Learning Department at the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Working with composer Jay Capperauld and artist/musician Kirsty Matheson we developed themes for presenting at concerts. I also designed free educational resources for S4-6 students to support composition.

Live Music Now Scotland

In 2022 I worked with Live Music New Scotland to deliver training and advise on evaluation methods for a community music project in North and South Ayrshire

Children’s Classic Concerts

In 2019, I collaborated with CCC to create inclusive creative music workshops - Music Sparks.
